New Life Academy

New Life Academy is a Pre K–12th grade school in Okinawa, Japan.

The intertwining stems reference various age groups growing together in community and life. The mark has a sense of rhythm to it and the italic text reinforces that. The use of green in “life” connects the text back to the mark and solidifies the concept.

Carissa’s artwork often features intense repetition of singular, unusual materials. The white circles in the “C” are meant to capture this.
